Healthy Eating Quiz What is it?
The Biggest Improver is an 8-week program running from January 28-March 31 to help people reach overall fitness and wellness goals. You can join the program as a member of a team or as an individual. Teams will be comprised of three people. There will be pre- and post-testing, special events, and the team and individual with the most points at the end of the 8 weeks will win the grand prize. All participants will also receive a Biggest Improver t-shirt. Printable General Information Sheet.
How do you register?
All you have to do is turn in the registration forms which include:
• Team Registration (pdf) or Individual Registration (pdf)
• Health History Forms (one for each participant)
• Registration Fee (cash) or (check made to ASU)

All forms and registration fees must be completed and submitted to the Physical Activity Center during regular office hours; registration will not be accepted after the January 28 informational meeting.
When is the informational meeting?
The informational meeting will be January 28 at 6:00 pm at the Physical Activity Center Lobby. All participants must be present for the informational meeting unless otherwise arranged. All pre-testing will be completed at the informational meeting. If you cannot attend, contact Kelsey at Kelsey.Lundy@asu.edu to arrange alternate times.
How does the competition exactly work?
There will be pre- and post-testing at the beginning and end of the 8-week program. For each improvement seen from pre- to post- testing, each person will earn one point. Points can also be earned for participating in special healthy living lectures, group fitness classes, intramurals, and other special programming. At the end of the competition there will be an overall team winner and an overall individual winner.

- Shuttle Run
- Body Compositions (BIA)
- Body Circumference Measures
- Sit & Reach
- Crunches & Push-ups (1 minute each)
- Mental Health Questionnaire
- Healthy Eating Questionnaire
* All tests are optional, pre-testing will be completed at informational meeting
What are the point values for events outside of the testing?
Healthy Living Lectures
Individuals receive two (2) points; if all members of team participate in the same lecture, they get an additional point (up to seven (7) points per lecture)
- February 11, 6:00 pm, Healthy Diet
- March 3, 6:00 pm, Exercising for Success
- March 24, 6:00 pm, Mental Wellness

Group Fitness Classes
Individuals receive 1 point; if all members of team participate in the same class, they get an additional point (up to four points per class)

Intramurals
Individuals receive three (3) points; if all members of team participate in the same intramural event, they get an additional point (up to ten (10) points per event)
- Intramural basketball: 2/6-2/28 (Wed & Thur nights)
- Badminton: Beginning 2/20
- Basketball 3-Point Contest: 2/28
- Spring Break ShinDIG (sand volleyball open play): 2/27
- 5 Days, 5 Challenges: 3/24-3/28 (obstacle course, limbo, frisbee accuracy throw, shuttle run, sports trivia)

Other Special Events
Other special events may be programmed throughout the semester. This information will be given to participants as these events are planned.

What can I win?
- Team Grand Prize: Announced at the Informational Meeting
- Individual Grand Prize: Announced at the Informational Meeting
- Team Runner-up Prize: Each team member will receive 3 free personal training sessions.
- Individual Runner-up Prize: Individual will receive 3 free personal training sessions.
