We recommend that students seeking to transfer into this program plan on taking MAT 270, MAT 271, PHY 121 and 122, and CHM 113 or 114 as part of their university General Studies requirements. Engineering courses covered by the standard articulation agreements between the various Arizona universities and community colleges that are articulated as equivalent to ECE 100, ECE 201, ECE 210, ECE 212 (or ECE 214), and ECE 380 will be accepted as credit towards the degree.
Important note:
Admission into our program comes with a commitment on our part to the student. If we admit you, and if you pass our courses, you will receive our degree. Not all engineering programs make such a commitment. Some other engineering programs admit many students into a category labeled "preprofessional" and then after you have attended their school for some time, they use a second selection process to choose which preprofessional students will be allowed to continue to graduation. The others are told to major in something else. This happens even though they were in good academic standing. We do not have a preprofessional category. If we admit you, and if you pass our courses, you will receive our degree.
