Students interested in the graduate programs at ASU's Polytechnic campus must meet the following requirements:
- Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Junior/senior cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Experience working with students in educational settings (paid or unpaid)
Students applying for a graduate degree program must apply to ASU’s Graduate School and submit an application packet to the School of Educational Innovation and Teacher Preparation Office of Advanced Studies.
Applications should be submitted at least one semester prior to the semester of requested admission. Applications will continue to be accepted after the priority deadlines as long as space remains available in the program. Priority deadlines for application submission are:
- February 1 for Fall Admission
- September 1 for Spring Admission
Graduate Application Process
- Apply to ASU as a School of Educational Innovation and Teacher Preparation degree seeking, graduate student.
- Make sure to apply as a Polytechnic campus student (Category= Education/Administration, Campus=Polytechnic). Students applying to the TEACH+ME Post-Baccalaureate certification program, select “Professional Studies” for their concentration. Applications to an incorrect campus, will have to re-apply and pay an additional application fee.
- Submit official, sealed transcripts from all colleges/universities that awarded Bachelor degree(s) and any possible transfer coursework. Transcripts for degrees and/or coursework from ASU do not need to be sent.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit proof of MMR (measles [rubeola] /mumps/rubella) immunizations.
- Apply to the School of Educational Innovation and Teacher Preparation program of your choice by submitting an application packet, including:
- Typed Letter of Intent providing information about your experience in educational settings and your future career goals.
- Professional Resume that includes all paid and unpaid experience in educational setttings.
- Three (3) letters of recommendation from professionals that can attest to to your ability as a future educator and your ability to complete graduate level work.
