The Transfer Advantage Partnership (TAP) is a partnership between Central Arizona College (CAC) and Arizona State University (ASU) designed to help students with the transition from the community college to the university. The TAP programs are designed for students who wish to complete Associate's degrees at CAC and transfer to ASU to complete their Bachelor's degrees in Elementary or Special Education. To support students in their efforts to graduate in a timely manner, TAP participants are able to transfer coursework without loss of credit, receive early advising by ASU advisors and get engaged as ASU students while still attending CAC. Courses are delivered using varying formats and schedules (evenings and weekends) at a CAC campus so that students working in Pinal County can pursue Bachelor's degrees while continuing with careers in their communities. The Elementary Education TAP is partially funded through a Title V, Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions grant.

The Arizona State University/Maricopa Community Colleges Alliance is a partnership designed to promote a seamless experience for students who want to earn both Associate and Baccalaureate degrees. The Teacher Education Alliance (TEALL) is specifically designed for students working on their Associate in Arts in Elementary Education (AAEE) degrees through Maricopa Community Colleges who plan to transfer to one of the ASU campuses. Students who join TEALL are guaranteed admission to one of ASU’s Elementary, Early Childhood, or Special Education programs with the condition that they complete the AAEE with a minimum 2.5 GPA. TEALL students become engaged as ASU students prior to transferring to ASU by participating in TEALL orientation programs, receiving early academic advising, attending social activities at ASU, and having access to ASU library, computing, and fitness facilities. There are more than150 students participating in TEALL at the Maricopa Community Colleges and 14 transferred successfully to SEITP in the fall of 2007.
