The B.S. in Real Estate program encompasses courses taught by business faculty and industry professionals in areas such as brokerage, lending, appraisal, development, and property management. Students work on projects that involve real-world situations that require hands-on analysis and creative solutions, and study in one of the best real estate laboratories in the United States – the Phoenix metropolitan area.
The program is organized around five aspects of real estate:
Emphasis is placed on team work and involvement in projects designed to develop analytical, communication, and technology skills. The program provides opportunities for liberal arts electives and the enrichment of real estate and business knowledge with advanced courses from other academic departments.
Students also benefit from the research conducted by Realty Studies (www.poly.asu.edu/realty/), which analyzes the real estate trends in the Phoenix area and around the state of Arizona. Throughout the course offerings, students examine real estate topics and have the opportunity to interact with industry professionals through special presentations and field trips.

They may also choose to enter one of the areas of business, industry, or government for which their emphasis on real estate concepts, theories, and practices has prepared them. Graduates of the program may also choose to continue their education by enrolling in graduate degree programs or law school.
