This concentration offers students a chance to build a broad perspective in the field of agribusiness. In an age of specialization, there remains a growing need for generalists. These are individuals who have mastered finance, marketing, management and other technologies, such as computers and statistics, and are capable of demonstrating this mastery.

After completing the required agribusiness core, students can select the General Agribusiness concentration core, which consists of 17 semester hours:

• AGB 435 Agricultural Commodities (3 semester hours)
• AGB electives (14 semester hours)
