Parents, students see space, meet principal
WHO:
University Public Schools Initiative, an affiliate of Arizona State University, will hold a parent meeting for the students who are enrolled for fall 2008 to share details about the opening of its first school, the Polytechnic Center of Education Innovation, in fall 2008. Parents will be able to meet the new principal, see the school space, and learn about the dress code and before/after school care program.

WHAT:
University Public Schools Initiative is opening the Polytechnic Center for Education Innovation, the first of its kind in Arizona, in August 2008. Initially, the school will serve students in grades K-6. Construction is expected to begin on the permanent facilities at Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus in August. Once completed, it will serve pre-school through twelfth grade students on a 24-acre campus. Information about the construction of the new campus also will be shared.
