IECEE CB Scheme

The IECEE CB Scheme, also called “Scheme of the IECEE for Mutual Recognition of Test Certificates for Electrical Equipment”, was introduced as a mean of facilitating recognition and exchange of safety test results among participating countries. Each country has its own standard(s) for testing the safety of product. For example, the UL1703 standard was widely used for safety test on products destined to U.S. market, the TUV Class II standard was widely used for products destined to Germany markets, etc.
The IEC 61730 standard was developed to fulfill the intent of the IECEE CB Scheme. It encompasses all those countries-specific standards such as UL1703, TUV Class II, etc, thus making it a boundaries-free standard.

ASU-PTL is a registered IECEE CBTL (Certification Body Testing Laboratory). As such, we can provide testing services to manufacturers seeking CB scheme certification for their products. The ASU-PTL test results could then be transmitted to any NCB (National Certification Body) in the World which, in turn, would issue IECEE certificate.
