Secondary Education specializing in Biology

The concentration in Secondary Education qualifies students for the State of Arizona Certification in Secondary Biology Education. Students interested in pursuing this concentration need to complete both the science content courses related to biology as well as courses specific to the secondary education curriculum. Students in this program have advisors in both the Applied Biological Sciences Department and the Department of Education at ASU's Polytechnic campus. The Secondary Education program will conclude with full-time student teaching in a secondary science classroom.
